The purpose of this journal is to serve as an alternative to creating a blog on my website. It is more accessible and much less of a hassle, which is nice.

I thought I'd start with a short introduction (with some things copy-pasted from my website, aha).

I love to masquerade under many different pseudonyms, but I go by Arteria. Any variant of artery in any language works, too. I am an adolescent, assigned-female-at-birth, neurodivergent, sentient mass of flesh. My interests include horror, obscure media, and human anatomy. Beyond that, I am fond of coding, fungi, operating systems, and music. I am particularly fond of the carotid arteries (common, internal and external), though I cannot explain why (I just think they're cool). Amongst other things, I also enjoy reading. I don't enjoy reading fiction, so I usually read textbooks and anatomy books.

To provide a rough sketch of who I am:
